Refund Policy

The short version.
Coastal is free. Paid plans (Offshore, Bluewater) are billed in advance through Stripe. Cancel anytime and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. If you’re charged by mistake or something goes wrong, email us within 14 days and we’ll make it right.
1. Plans and billing.
WatchKeeper offers a free Coastal tier and paid Offshore and Bluewater tiers, billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don’t store your card details. Taxes may apply based on your location.
2. Cancellation.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the free Coastal tier. We don’t delete your data on cancellation — export or delete it yourself any time from settings.
3. Refunds.
If you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or are unhappy within 14 days of a charge, email hello@watchkeeper.me and we’ll review it and refund where appropriate. Outside that window, paid periods are generally non-refundable, but tell us what happened — we’re reasonable.
4. Annual plans.
Annual plans are billed once for the year. If you cancel mid-year, you keep access until the term ends; partial-year refunds are at our discretion under the 14-day rule above.
5. Statutory rights.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.
